You will find many types of diet for constipation online, that involve giving up everything you like eating. But the truth is, that it’s not so much what you don’t eat, as what you do.

Easy Diet for Constipation

If you want to get rid of constipation, the easiest diet includes 3 ingredients, and you don’t need to stop eating sugar and white bread:

  1. One large salad a day. Be sure to include a wide variety of fresh vegetables (lettuce shouldn’t be the main one) and cut the vegetables right before you eat them. You can add non-vegetable ingredients, for taste, but don’t allow them to dominate the salad. If you can, add cucumbers, tomatoes, sweet peppers and carrots. If you don’t think you can have a salad be your entire meal, then don’t. You can eat something extra, as long as the salad is big and not just a side dish.
  2. Cabbage. sliced cabbage, even as a part of a salad or as a pickled cabbage, will do wonders. Be sure to eat at least 4 to 5 spoons of cabbage, to see results.
  3. Prunes. Introducing this food into your daily diet will bring about the biggest change. You can eat prunes as a daily snack between meals or as a part of a fruit salad for dessert, you can drink prune juice or let your creative part take over and look for recipes that include prunes.

When people look for the ideal diet for constipation, they usually get strict instructions that makes them very uncomfortable, when the solution can be quite simple – just eat more of the foods that cause bowel movement, until you get the results you are looking for.
